RYAN FOUNDATION INTERNATIONAL - A Registered Public charity that exists to help the poor help themselves with low-investment, low technology contraptions and projects. The Foundation teaches the poor to fish for themselves and does not give them fish to each.

The dictum of the Foundation is “The Poor will remain poor if they depend on the technology of the rich.”

The acronym of the Foundation that was founded in 1982 is “RYFO”. The Founder President of the Foundation is Dr. Felix Ryan - a Director in the Indian Ministry of Industry. He took voluntary retirement at the age of 50 and joined the United Nations as an Advisor and served in developing countries, especially in Africa.
